Please don’t forget the Home-made Stall is this next Sunday 1st July – Hoping to be outside in the sunshine, as cannot really compete with a bouncy castle in the hall! Do please bring lots of cakes, biscuits, jams and home-made crafts. If you have spare house plants or pot plants we’ll be grateful, though the ground is probably too hard for digging any plants into the ground. Don’t forget there is no home-made stall in August, but we will be back on 2nd September.
The money we raise goes to support the work of Centre for Urban Mission in Nairobi’s largest slum, Kibera. Specifically we raise money for homework clubs and apprenticeships for the youngsters in Nairobi’s slums. Back in April we honoured our dear friend Nancy Hand with a tremendous £260 stall in her memory and have since then sent another £305.50 from the stalls in May and June, so we’re on track for our best year ever. Thank you all for your support.
See you on Sunday,
