Small Groups

Home Groups

We have many different home groups that are run by our church people. They usually meet each other’ houses and have hot drinks and nibbles, share their news, have a laugh and spend a time together to learn about God and the bible. If you’d like to join some of our existing groups, please contact Parish Office for more information.

Thursday Morning Coffee

Our mid-week Holy Communion service is on Thursdays and starts at 10am.

You are very welcome to join us.  If you require a lift, please contact

We hold a Coffee Morning and Hearing Aid Clinic on the 3rd Thursday of the month where we enjoy a cuppa and chat in the church hall after the 10am service. You don’t have to have attended the service in order to attend the coffee morning and you are welcome to join us in the hall at 10.45am.

We also run an NHS Hearing Aid Clinic at the same time where we can assist with replacement batteries and cleaning. We will do our best to assist with any questions.

Story & Scribble

This is a new small group and the idea is that we sit around and whilst a story is being read, the group might like to sketch a character from the story or a scene or idea which the story generates.  If you don’t want to draw, then just come and enjoy listening to the story.

Some stories may have a Christian context, but not all.  Some may be humorous, some more serious.  As the group grows together, then we can choose together what we read.

Coffee and biscuits will be served.  The plan is to meet fortnightly to begin with and then we can see how we get on.

If this idea appeals to you do come and try it.

Would you like to join a new group?

You might like to join our new Alpha course starting from 12th January 2022, meeting at the Bell pub. Please find out more about it!
