Unfortunately due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and the need to be responsible in the light of government instructions, New Wine have had to cancel the New Wine Summer Conference – ‘United 20’ – which St Mary’s were planning to attend from Saturday 25 July to Friday 31 July 2020.
However, they are now holding the virtual ‘United Breaks Out’– 30 July – 3 August 2020. This will be a mix of online celebrations – featuring worship, teaching and prayer ministry for families, adults & youth – seminars, webinars, family activities, the United App, an online resource area and more.
United Breaks Out launches at 8pm on Thursday 30 July, with live hosting and worship from Chris Sayburn and the New Wine Worship team, and teaching from Miriam Swanson and Danielle Strickland. Evening speakers across the weekend include Archbishop Justin Welby, Gary Haugen of IJM, leadership coach Jo Saxton, Chris Lane of St Mellitus North West and Ben Lindsay, Founder of Power The Fight. As Paul Harcourt – New Wine National Leader – puts it: –
“There may be uncertainty about the re-starting of church services, but there is no doubt about the role of the Church. In this season, we’re hearing more clearly about the call on God’s people to show the love of God and offer hope and healing to a nation in need. This is a crucial moment for the Church in this country and we have planned United Breaks Out in response to what we felt God was showing us.”
