National Prayer Weekend: 30 September – 1 October 2017

This will be a special weekend of prayer throughout the UK for our nation and our local communities and we would love everyone in Fetcham to have the opportunity to take part. St Mary’s Parish Church will be hosting a variety of prayer events beginning with a celebration on Friday 29 September, with a variety of exciting prayer activities for all the family on Saturday and culminating in Harvest celebrations on Sunday. For the full programme see below.

You can get involved by joining us in person for one of the programme of events or by sending in your prayer requests for yourselves, your local community or indeed the nation (see prayer response form below).

Prayer Room

For the first time there will be a room for continuous prayer in the Bothy ( building at the end of St Mary’s driveway exit). We expect that there will be someone there praying at all times between 9.30pm on Friday 29th and 9.30am on Sunday 1st. There will be many different ideas of ways to pray for our community and our world using all our senses. Just visit and meet with God.

If you would like to be part of the continuous prayer rota, sign up below for half an hour, an hour or more. No prayer experience required, – just a willingness to let God know your thoughts and hopes for this world! Go here if you’d like to take part 🙂
