    Notice of APCM:  Sunday 23 April in the Church Hall, more details to follow.

    Electoral Roll:  Revised annually and in conjunction with the APCM, the Roll is currently open for names to be added.  If you are already a member of the Electoral Roll you don’t need to do anything.  If you wish to join St Mary’s Electoral Roll you must complete and return the Electoral Roll application form (also available in church) and return it to the parish office at your earliest convenience.  We strongly encourage you to join the Electoral Roll which is, in effect, a list of church members.  If you have any questions regarding the APCM or the Electoral Roll, please contact office@stmarysfetcham.org.uk, one of the Churchwardens, Jennie Coles and Janet Clark or our Electoral Roll Officer, Hazel Reid.

    Youth – Board Game eve – this Wed 15 Mar, 7.30-9pm:  This is our  monthly Board Game evening at the bothy for young people in school years 9-13!  It’s a place for older youth to come and unwind over toast, hot chocolate and enjoy a variety of board and card games! All are welcome so please invite friends, neighbours and your long lost cousins!

    Highway 35 Guest Speaker, Thurs 16 Mar, 7pm Fetcham Park House:  It’s not too late to book for this social evening hosted by the Men’s Group, The guest speakers, Chris and Denise Arthey, have an inspiring story of a life-changing road accident and remarkable recovery.  A story of hope, faith, love, perseverance and forgiveness.  Books will be on sale on the evening.  Arrive from 6:30pm for drinks and the opportunity to catch up with friends, ready for the talk at 7pm sharp.  Please sign up here or contact the Parish Office.

    MyChurchSuite – Your personal details:  Please can you take a look at your details on your personal ChurchSuite account and input your date of birth.  This will be very helpful for any statistics we need to analyse as well as the annual returns to the Diocese.  Please also update any change of address or telephone numbers.

    Who Let The Dad’s Out Breakfast – Sat 18 March, 9:30-11:30am – It’s a men’s monthly, Saturday morning opportunity to enjoy bacon sandwiches, decent fresh coffee & a chance to chat.  They meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month in the church hall.  You are welcome to come along with or without children.  There’s lots of activities to keep everyone occupied.  No charge, but donations welcome.  We look forward to seeing you there!

    Safeguarding:  Last Sunday was Safeguarding Sunday which we trust was helpful, especially in understanding the important role we all play in safeguarding ourselves and our community.   Do get in contact with our Safeguarding Officers, Margaret Davidson or Caroline Salmon, if you have any concerns around safeguarding.  If the subject has raised any issues for you one of the team will be delighted to pray with you.  

    6 Nations Rugby – Sat 18 Mar, 5pm, :  Join us to watch the 6 Nations rugby match in the church hall, offering a family friendly space, with the enjoyment of a big screen and great atmosphere.  Please feel free to arrive before the 5pm kick-off, but you can join in at any time.  We are offering free hotdogs, and request that you bring your own drinks.  To give us an idea of numbers please sign up.  Do come along on the day if you don’t get around to doing it.  This is a community event, so bring your friends too!

    Easter Morning – Sun 9 April:   There’s a Sunrise Service on Easter Morning at 6am, followed by breakfast which will run from 6.30 to 9.30am, ie before and after the 8o’clock, finishing before the Easter Celebration at 10.00am.  We’ll be offering egg and / or bacon rolls (pre-order a veggie alternative), fresh fruit and pastries.     LoveFetcham Week – 1-6 April:  This is a wonderful an opportunity to show our community some extra love this Easter by volunteering to help at one or more of our community projects.  Contact julie@stmarysfetcham.org.uk if you would like to get involved in any way.  You can also visit the LoveFetcham website or follow the facebook page.

    Rector on the Run 2023: Pouya is running the London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge, taking place on Sat 27 May and it’s his first ever 100k (62.2 miles) attempt.  But before that as part of the challenge, he’ll be running 70 miles in 7 days within the LoveFetcam week.  He is also inviting all runners in the area to join him for a community run during that week.  More details to follow.  All money raised is going back to the Fetcham community.  To find out more or to sponsor him visit : https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/rector-on-the-run-2023
