As you may have heard, the family and I will be moving from St Mary’s Fetcham some time in the summer. I have accepted an associate rector role (director of mission and discipleship) at the Church of the Resurrection in Lutherville, Maryland USA.
We made this decision due to our personal and family circumstances. It has been a difficult journey for Debo and I since we love this community and are well aware of the love and care bestowed upon us as a family. These have been our best two years of serving Christ, especially since there are several encouraging shoots of growth within this community.
Debo and I will always keep this place and its people in our hearts. Thank you for your genuine welcome, generosity and friendship. Please pray for us as a family as we begin this transition. Also we pray for you all as you discern the way forward with your new leader.
With much love, Pouya and Debo
